The Flick Goalie Camp is a specific skill development campus for Field Hockey Goalkeepers, in which we are going to celebrate its 13th edition. With a team of athletes and former athletes from the world of hockey led by Jaume Borràs (former goalkeeper of ATHC, former international goalkeeper, coach of various Olympic goalkeepers and national teams, and holder of a national field hockey coaching title), we aim for our campus participants to enjoy the sport and improve their skills in field hockey.

A field hockey player for over 30 years, he has reached the pinnacle of this sport and, although he retired a few years ago, remains connected to it. Hockey has been his passion since childhood, and he lives for and through hockey. He studied Industrial Engineering and has a Master's in Coaching and NLP.

For more than 10 years, he has been the Founder & CEO of Flick Hockey, a store selling field hockey equipment that distributes worldwide through its website www.flickhockey.com.

An Olympian at Rio 2016 and Captain of Club Egara and Atletic Terrassa, he leads the Flick Academy campuses with the goal of teaching and improving our sport, helping to create future high-level hockey players.

OBJECTIVES

The basic objectives of the campus are:

  • To adapt the training to the individual needs of the goalkeepers according to their age.
  • To develop the physical capabilities required to play in the goalkeeper position.
  • To enhance the goalkeepers' psychological and theoretical aspects for comprehensive training.
  • To create a professional training environment that will assist boys and girls in their development.

To achieve these objectives, we work:

  • With technical content by educational stages with their respective objectives.
  • With small work groups distributed by ages and levels.
  • With high-intensity work sessions for advanced level goalkeepers.

CAMPUS DETAILS

The campus details are as follows:

  • Age group: 13 to 18 years old.
  • Location: Facilities of Atlètic Terrassa HC. The training field is to be confirmed.
  • Dates: it is a stage on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of July.
  • Schedule: to be confirmed (likely in the afternoon).
  • Number of open spots: 35 spots.
  • Check-in: Once at the facilities, go directly to the field.

Please note: The schedule and details of the campus are subject to change. Upon arrival, all participants are assessed by the staff and placed in groups according to their age and skill level.

To join us, we ask you to complete the registration form found below. This step is vital for us to better understand the goalkeeper who will be training with us as well as their parents/guardians, ensuring that we have everything in order, including the authorization to participate.

Once you have submitted the form, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details you have provided. We invite you to carefully review this information. If something doesn’t seem right or if you need to make any changes, reply to that email and we will confirm the adjustments. We are here to help you at every step of the way.

The last detail is to complete the payment for the registration. You can do this by visiting our physical store or, if it’s more convenient for you, directly through our website. Scrolling down, you will find the online payment option.
